Homemade Mint Sauce
Using just fresh mint, sugar, and vinegar, mint sauce is quite simple to make. It's a must with roast lamb and pairs well with other meats, too.

Ingredients
- 3large handfuls of mint leaves, (stems previously removed)
- 1tablespoon granulated sugar
- ¼cup wine vinegar

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Place washed mint leaves on a cutting board and sprinkle the leaves with the sugar.Step 3
Chop the leaves rather finely.Step 4
Transfer the chopped mint with the sugar to a bowl.Step 5
In a small saucepan, heat the vinegar over low heat.Step 6
Pour the vinegar over the mint.Step 7
Taste and add more sugar if you think the sauce is too sharp.Step 8
Serve hot or cold with roasted lamb or other meats.
