Grilled Whiskey Glazed Salmon
These salmon fillets are grilled hot and fast with a sweet whiskey marinade that gives them a lot of great flavor and nice, crisp glaze when grilled.
- Serves: 4 persons
- 12-ounce salmon fillets
- ½cup whiskey
- ¼cup light soy sauce
- ¼cup orange juice
- 2tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2cloves garlic minced
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Mix whiskey, soy sauce , orange juice, oil, and garlic in a medium bowl.
Step 3Place salmon in a shallow dish and pour mixture over the top. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 3 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 4Preheat the grill for medium-high heat. Once heated, oil the grill grates to create a nonstick surface. Make at least 4 to 5 passes on the grates.
Step 5Place the fish on the hot grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
Step 6The salmon is done when it flakes easily, has faded in color, and reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 F. Carefully remove fish from the grill and serve.
Step 7Plate the fish and serve with your favorite sides.
