Recipe Tip: Focaccia with Figs, Salami and Gorgonzola
Top Recipe for 2 Persons. All ingredients and tips for getting it right. This sandwich combines sweet figs with creamy Gorgonzola and salty salami - a focaccia with an Italian indulgence factor!
- 200 gfresh focaccia bread
- 120 gGorgonzola Cremoso, room temperature
- 3Ripe figs
- 150 gItalian salami, preferably Cacciatore DOP, sliced thinly
Step 1Cut the focaccia lengthwise, then spread the bottom half with the Gorgonzola.
Step 2Slice the figs lengthwise and place them and the salami generously on top.
Step 3Put the other half of the focaccia on top, press down a little and crisp briefly in a sandwich grill.
