Baked Halibut Recipe
Our baked halibut recipe is quick to prepare. A mustard-mayo mixture is spread on the halibut fillets and topped with crushed potato chips. A kid and adult-pleasing recipe.
- Serves: 4 persons
- ½cup mayonnaise
- ½cup Dijon mustard
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 1pound halibut fillets
- 1to 1/2 cups crushed potato chips
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Preheat oven to 400 F. Spray a 2- or 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Whisk together the mayonnaise and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3Brush the mayonnaise-mustard mixture over both sides of the halibut.
Step 4Spread the potato chip crumbs out in a shallow dish or on a plate. Dip both sides of the halibut in the potato chip crumbs.
Step 5Place the fillets in the prepared baking dish. Bake 18 to 22 minutes, until fish flakes easily with a fork.
