This cantaloupe smoothie is a great fruit smoothie recipe to make in the summer when cantaloupe is in season.
- Serves: 4 persons
- 3cups cantaloupe chunks (about 1-inch pieces)
- ½cup orange juice
- ¼cup milk
- ¾cup vanilla yogurt
- Optional: 1 tablespoon honey
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
Step 3Place cantaloupe chunks on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece of cantaloupe.
Step 4Freeze 1 hour. Transfer to a plastic bag, and freeze at least 1 more hour.
Step 5These cantaloupe chunks will keep in the freezer for several months, provided you store them in an airtight, freezer-safe container.
Step 6Place cantaloupe chunks in the bottom of a Vita Mix Blender, regular blender or food processor.
Step 7Top with remaining ingredients. Puree until smooth.
