Spaghetti Pie With Ground Beef and Cheese
Ground beef, vegetables, and cheese make up the filling for this delicious spaghetti pie. And, the casserole is baked with a mozzarella cheese topping.

Ingredients
- 6ounces spaghetti
- 2large eggs
- ¼cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1pound lean ground beef
- 1small onion, chopped
- 8ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1(16-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1cup canned whole kernel corn, drained, or frozen and thawed
- 1green bell pepper, sliced into rings or strips
- 1cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 F.Step 2
Grease a 9-inch square baking dish, or a large deep-dish pie plate.Step 3
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water following the package instructions; drain thoroughly and set aside.Step 4
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs with the Parmesan cheese. Add the cooked, drained spaghetti and toss to blend.Step 5
Transfer the spaghetti mixture to the prepared baking dish. Press it over the bottom and up sides of pan to form a "crust."Step 6
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with onion and mushrooms; drain well. Stir the spaghetti sauce and corn into the beef mixture.Step 7
Spoon the beef and sauce mixture into the spaghetti "crust." Top with bell pepper rings or strips and then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the filling is hot and bubbly, and the cheese has melted and browned lightly.
