Valentine's Day Cookies
This cookie recipe is my own personal recipe I would just love to share with the world. What makes them so special is that the eggs are replaced with milk. Without the eggs it give the outside a cookie like shell but with a moist cakey inside.
- Serves: 18 persons
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼cup white sugar
- ½teaspoon baking soda
- 2pinches salt
- ½cup honey
- ⅓cup milk
- ¼cup butter, softened
- ¼teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ½cup vanilla chips
- ½cup confectioners' sugar
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2Whisk together the flour, white sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Step 3Beat honey, milk, butter, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth.
Step 4Stir the flour mixture into the honey mixture until just combined.
Step 5Fold in the chocolate and vanilla chips.
Step 6Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto nonstick baking sheets.
