Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket

This is a breakfast take on the classic pigs in a blanket that is made with scrambled eggs, bacon and sprinkled with cheese.

  1. Step 1

    Gather the ingredients.
  2. Step 2

    Cook the bacon in the oven or on the stovetop until crispy. Let cool slightly and chop into very small bits. 
  3. Step 3

    Whisk the eggs until completely combined and cook in the tablespoon of butter until cooked through. 
  4. Step 4

     Preheat the oven to 375 F. 
  5. Step 5

    Cut each crescent triangle into three smaller, long and skinny triangles. 
  6. Step 6

    Sprinkle each triangle with a little bacon. Place a small teaspoon of scrambled eggs on top. Then top with a cocktail frank. Roll until completely wrapped in pastry. Place the roll on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with the cheddar cheese. 
  7. Step 7

    Repeat steps with remaining dough and dogs. 
  8. Step 8

    Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp. Serve immediately!
