Baked S’mores Skillet Dip Recipe
A fun indoor S'mores dip recipe, using a skillet to make this campfire classic for a crowd.
- Serves: 10 persons
- ½tablespoon butter
- 1 ½cups chocolate chips
- 15jumbo marshmallows, halved
- 1box graham crackers
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Preheat oven to 450 F with cast iron skillet inside.
Step 3Being careful of not to burn yourself, remove the skillet from the oven and toss in the butter. Tilt the skillet so the butter coats the bottom and sides.
Step 4Pour the chocolate chips evenly into the skillet.
Step 5Again, be careful not to burn yourself as you arrange the marshmallow halves over the chocolate chips. Be sure to cover the chocolate completely.
Step 6Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until marshmallows are toasted. Watch it carefully because the marshmallows can quickly burn.
Step 7Remove the skillet from the oven and allow to rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 8Serve warm with with graham crackers for dipping.
