Slow Cooker Green Beans and Potatoes
This easy dish is one of our favorite summertime meals, fresh green beans and potatoes thrown in a slow cooker!
- Serves: 6 persons
- 1pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1pound small new potatoes, halved
- water to cover
- 2(1 inch) cubes salt pork, or more to taste
Step 1Layer green beans and potatoes in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add just enough water to barely cover. Top with salt pork.
Step 2Cover and cook on Low until tender, 6 to 8 hours.
