This is a delicious dip that goes with garlic bread, pita or even tortilla chips. You can tweak it to taste when you're making it.
- Serves: 3 persons
- 1(8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1pound crumbled feta
- 2teaspoons hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 1cup lemon juice
- ¼teaspoon ground white pepper
- ½cup olive oil
- 1cup half-and-half
- 4roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
Step 1In a large bowl, or in the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the cream cheese, feta cheese, hot pepper sauce, white pepper, and lemon juice. Mix on low speed until blended. Gradually mix in the olive oil until it has fully incorporated. Stir in half and half until the mixture is smooth and soft. Stir in the roasted red peppers if using. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
