Ingredients
- 1 ¼cups butter (or margarine, softened)
- ¾cup cocoa
- 4eggs
- 2cups sugar
- 2teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½cups flour
- Optional: 2 cups nuts (chopped)

Melt together the 1 1/4 cups butter or margarine and add in the 3/4 cup of cocoa; mixing well to combine.Step 4
Once the butter or margarine is melted, transfer to a mixing bowl if needed, then stir in the 2 cups sugar and blend in the 4 eggs, one at a time. Between each egg, beat well to fully incorporate.Step 5
Once the eggs are all mixed in, add in the 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and stir to combine well.Step 6
Stir in the 1 1/2 cups of flour and the optional chopped nuts; mixing to fully combine well.Step 7
Bake in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.Step 8
