Baked Breaded Pork Chops Recipe
This pork chops recipe is the perfect weeknight meal. Breaded with breadcrumbs, herbs, and other seasonings, then baked for a crispy crust and juicy inside.

Ingredients
- 4boneless center-cut pork chops, about 1-inch thickness
- 1egg, whisked
- ½cup flour
- 1cup breadcrumbs
- 2teaspoons salt, divided
- 1teaspoon dried parsley
- 1teaspoon dried oregano
- 1teaspoon garlic powder
- ½teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 2tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Gather the ingredients. Position a rack in the center of the oven and heat to 425 F.Step 2
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Add the egg to another shallow bowl. In a third shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, the remaining teaspoon salt, dried parsley and oregano, garlic powder, pepper, and parmesan cheese.Step 3
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.Step 4
Lightly dredge a chop in flour, then egg, then bread crumbs, being sure to coat all sides.Step 5
Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining pork chops.Step 6
Heat a large cast-iron or other heavy-duty oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add the oil.Step 7
When the oil shimmers, add the chops and cook until light golden, 1 to 2 minutes per side.Step 8
Transfer the skillet to the oven. Roast until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chops reads 145 F, 10 to 13 minutes.Step 9
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
