Pastrami sandwich
Layer up the pastrami to make an unforgettable sandwich with swiss cheese, lettuce, sauerkraut and mustard-mayo. Skewer in place with a cocktail stick

Ingredients
- 2slices rye bread
- salted butter , softened
- 2tbsp mayonnaise
- 1tbsp American mustard
- 4slices pastrami
- 2slices swiss cheese
- 3tbsp sauerkraut , drained
- 3Little Gem , leaves separated
- a few cornichons , to serve
Instructions
Step 1
Spread the slices of bread with butter, then the mayonnaise over one slice and the mustard over the other. Pile the pastrami over the mustard side, then add the cheese and sauerkraut. Pile over the lettuce, then sandwich with the mayonnaise-covered side. Skewer everything in place with a cocktail stick, and a few cornichons if you fancy.
