Kourambiethes
Kourambiethes are wonderful Greek cookies covered in powdered sugar. These cookies are favored by many and are great with coffee, tea, or by themselves!

Ingredients
- 2cups unsalted butter
- ¾cup powdered sugar
- 1egg yolk
- 1jigger/3 tablespoons Brandy
- 4 ½cups flour
- Optional: whole cloves
- Garnish: powdered sugar
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F.Step 2
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and brandy.Step 3
Gradually only add enough flour to make a soft dough. Chill.Step 4
Shape dough into crescents or 1 1/2 inch balls. (If using cloves, place one in each cookie before baking.)Step 5
Place on ungreased sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. They won't be brown.Step 6
Cool for 4 to 5 minutes and then sift powdered sugar over them.
