Lamb Meatloaf

Lamb meatloaf offers a tasty alternative to the standard meatloaf made with ground beef. Onion, peppers, garlic, and seasonings add delicious flavor.

  1. Step 1

    Gather the ingredients.
  2. Step 2

    Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a loaf pan.
  3. Step 3

    In a large bowl, combine lamb, beef, eggs, and breadcrumbs. Mix well. (Hands work best.)
  4. Step 4

    Add onion, green pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, basil, and cinnamon. Mix well, making sure spices are thoroughly spread throughout mixture.
  5. Step 5

    Transfer mixture into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until cooked through.
  6. Step 6

    Remove from oven and let stand approximately 15 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh, chopped parsley.
