Lamb Meatloaf
Lamb meatloaf offers a tasty alternative to the standard meatloaf made with ground beef. Onion, peppers, garlic, and seasonings add delicious flavor.

Ingredients
- 2pounds lean ground lamb
- ½pound ground beef
- 2large eggs
- 1cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1medium onion, diced
- 1green bell pepper, diced
- 3cloves garlic, chopped
- ¾teaspoon kosher salt
- 1teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½teaspoon ground cumin
- 1teaspoon dried basil
- ¼teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼cup fresh parsley, chopped

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a loaf pan.Step 3
In a large bowl, combine lamb, beef, eggs, and breadcrumbs. Mix well. (Hands work best.)Step 4
Add onion, green pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, basil, and cinnamon. Mix well, making sure spices are thoroughly spread throughout mixture.Step 5
Transfer mixture into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until cooked through.Step 6
Remove from oven and let stand approximately 15 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh, chopped parsley.
