Spicy Cranberry Sauce
A spicy cranberry sauce that's good with turkey or spread over cream cheese for an appetizer.
- Serves: 12 persons
- 2(8 ounce) cans pineapple tidbits, drained and patted dry
- 1(16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- ¼cup brown sugar
- ½teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼teaspoon salt
- 3green onions, chopped
- 1fresh jalapeno chile (or more to taste), seeded and chopped
- 1sprig fresh rosemary
Step 1Combine pineapple tidbits, cranberry sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until berries pop, about 5 minutes.
Step 2Remove from heat and mix in green onions and jalapeno peppers. Garnish with rosemary.
