Tyrosalata (Spicy Feta Dip) Recipe
A tasty spicy Greek feta dip. Greek yogurt is the base so create a creamy dip that will have everyone asking for more.

Ingredients
- 1tablespoon olive oil
- 1large green pepper (mild, sliced in half and seeded)
- 1cup feta (crumbled)
- ½cup Greek yogurt
- ¼teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼teaspoon chili powder
- ½teaspoon lemon juice
- pepper to taste
- 3tablespoons olive oil (more or less; enough to achieve dip consistency)
- salt to taste*
Instructions
Step 1
Add some grapeseed oil to a pan and heat over medium-high.Step 2
Add the green pepper (or whichever peppers you’ll be using) and fry until it gets a little black and soft, about 5 minutes.Step 3
Remove pepper(s) and place in food processor.Step 4
Add feta, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, chili powder, lemon juice, and pepper to food processor as well.Step 5
Turn on and blend everything together. While blending, slowly pour in enough olive oil to achieve a dip like consistency. Normally, around 3 tablespoons or so.Step 6
Once you’re happy with consistency, remove and taste. Adjust any seasonings as necessary and reblend if needed.Step 7
When done, pour into bowl and serve with pita, vegetables, or whatever you like. NOTES *Add salt after tasting since feta is naturally salty so you many not need any.
