Grilled Cinnamon Apples
Great for fall and winter, this grilled apple recipe makes a wonderful dessert with ice cream or caramel sauce or a side dish for grilled pork.

Ingredients
- 2firm apples
- ½cup water
- ¼cup lemon juice
- 2tablespoons brown sugar
- 1teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch kosher salt

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Preheat grill to medium heat. Core apples and cut into slices that are 1/4-inch thick, but leave peel intact.Step 3
Combine water and lemon juice in a large bowl and add apple slices. This soak will keep them from browning.Step 4
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt , and set aside.Step 5
Place apples on grill and cook for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, turning once.Step 6
Once cooked, place apples on a large dish and sprinkle with mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
