Chocolate Delight Dessert
Chocolate delight is a popular dessert made with layers of pudding, sweetened cream cheese, and whipped topping on a graham cracker crust.

Ingredients
- 2cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 8ounces cream cheese (softened )
- 1cup confectioners' sugar
- 1(16-ounce) large tub frozen whipped topping (thawed)
- 2(3.9-ounce) packages chocolate instant pudding
- 3cups cold milk
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
Step 1
Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 F.Step 2
In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and the melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.Step 3
Bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely before assembling the layers.Step 4
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the confectioners' sugar until smooth. Stir in half of the whipped topping until well blended.Step 5
Spread the mixture over the cooled crust.Step 6
In another bowl, beat the pudding with the cold milk as directed on the package (but using only 3 cups of milk).Step 7
Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.Step 8
Top the dessert with the remaining whipped topping and spread to cover completely.Step 9
If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts.Step 10
Chill thoroughly before serving, about 2 hours.
