Cake Mix and Canned Pear Cobbler
This easy canned pear cobbler is essentially a dump cake. Dump all four ingredients into a pan and bake. Serve warm from the oven with ice cream.
- Serves: 16 persons
- 21-ounce can sliced pears in heavy syrup
- 19-ounce box yellow cake mix
- ½cup butter (melted)
- Ground ginger or nutmeg
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Preheat oven to 350 F. Place pears with syrup into an oval-shaped baking pan.
Step 3Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the pears.
Step 4Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix. Lightly sprinkle with ginger or nutmeg.
Step 5Bake for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
