This homemade chocolate fudge recipe is fun and easy. You can customize it in so many ways with your favorite nuts, dried fruits, or candy.

- 3cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 14ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1tablespoons butter
- ½teaspoon vanilla
- ⅛teaspoon salt
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Line a 9-inch square baking pan or dish with plastic wrap.
Step 3Combine the chocolate chips and condensed milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir until the chocolate has melted .
Step 4Remove from heat. Add the butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
Step 5Pour the fudge into the prepared dish, spreading evenly and smoothing the surface with a spatula.
Step 6Refrigerate until firm, at least one hour.
Step 7Turn out of the pan, remove the plastic, and cut into squares.
